Jesus gave several signs in Matthew 24, indicators of a creation in the throes of labor pains as it awaits the arrival of redemption. The indicators, famines, earthquakes, pestilence, wars….have been a part of this world since the fall of man into sin. But Jesus was clear in saying that in the very last days of the age, these signs would increase in severity and frequency. As man continues to shake his fist in the face of God, or worse, devise myriad ways to deny He even exists, the earth trembles in anticipation of the “revelation of the sons of redemption.”
2011 has already proved to be a historic year….particularly in the statistical catagory of earthquakes registering 5 or higher on the Richter Scale. The following is a list current to May 11, 2011.
